I finished this a while ago, but I wasn't sure if I was happy with the background. I still don't know if I like it, but apparently I've lost interest in continuing work on it, so I'm calling it done for now and moving onto other things. Graphite on toned paper.
I think it is quite nice! I wonder what it would look like colored? But don't consider it a failure cause I think it is lovely!
