Sorry for the lack of updates lately, I'm working as a full time dishwasher now, so I'm pretty busy/exhausted a lot of the time. I'm slowly getting some artwork done, I hope to get a couple things scanned to share pretty soon.

ACEO Sketches and WIPs

Art dump time! I'm working on a big painting project that's going to take a long time to finish, so I've been working on some ACEOs simultaneously so I don't go crazy, although some of these were finished maybe a month ago before I started the project.

The top three are finished, and they are for sale in my Ebay store.

New ACEO painting: Occultus Morsus

Latin for "Hidden Sting". This one took me a long time, probably more than 15 hours, I really tried to push myself to get a lot of detail in there. I'm quite happy with the outcome, I definitely feel like I've made some definite improvements in my art. Click for a bigger picture, and sale details. Friday Feature: Abiogenisis - Alex Ries

Abiogenisis has been one of my favorite concept artists for a while now, the level of detail in his artwork and the amount of thought that goes into conceptualizing some of his designs is amazing. My favorites are his scifi works, but he also has some very nice wildlife illustrations.

Friday Feature: Sheryl Westleigh

New ACEO WIP

Not a very good scan, I drew it with grey copic fine liners so it's pretty faint, had to bump up the contrast in photoshop a bit. Trying some lighter colors for my lines, I think it'll look nice with my usual mellow color schemes. Nothing too crazy here, typical dragon/floral thing, just trying to get back into arting again. Copic on Illustration board, gonna watercolor/multimedia it.
