New art, and a WIP

Sorry about the lack of Friday Features, I'm hoping to start those up again next Friday.

First image is an ACEO completed the day before yesterday, it took a long time to finish, the shadows were giving me a hard time. I finally got to a point where I was pretty happy with it, but the scanner killed the colors and shading. The dragon is actually a very nice opalescent pink and blue IRL, and the shading and colors look a lot better, especially the blue shadows.

Semi - hiatus

Sorry about the lack of activity lately, I'm in a rut in terms of my art and life in general, so I haven't been doing much of anything art wise, and I honestly just don't feel life updating my blog, or much of anything else online.

I'm trying to pull out of it though, at the very least I'll try to get a few Friday Features set up to update automatically, even if I don't finish any new art for a while, at least I can share the awesome work of others :)

Just finished the last three designs for my baby dragon sticker set, I'm working on turning them into stickers now, once they're all cut out I'll upload a nice picture and edit my order form :3

Took a little break from working on my main dragon sticker set yesterday and doodled up some cute baby dragons, and I figured why not do another dragon sticker set? The main sticker set of full grown, detailed adult dragons, and little chibi/baby versions of each species :) The brown one is a "Painted dragon" and the green one is a "Green crested dragon".

New art: Blue Lacewing Dragon Sticker Design

I finally finished the second dragon for my sticker set yesterday, I'd have finished her about a week ago but my blue markers ran out half way through coloring her wings and I had to order new ones.

I have no idea why a flying creature would have holes in its wings, or giant, floppy, tail thingies coming off its head, but lacewings do anyway :P

One of those projects that took longer to do than I'd hoped, I ended up having to redo the wings twice, but I'm glad I forced myself to finish it, because I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Still some parts that bother me, but I don't think I've ever finished something that I was absolutely 100% happy with. I'll be turning this and hopefully at least 4 more dragon designs into stickers once they're all done :)

Epiphytes line art

Line art for the next painting in my series of anthro dragon pin ups. I've been working on this on and off for maybe a week now, it's been pretty hectic over here so I haven't been able to concentrate on art as much as I'd like :(

I'm kinda bothered that she's kinda similar to the first lady in this series, and the fact that they're both in forests full of epiphytes, but I plan on coloring this lady with warm tones, and I'll have to make sure I vary the environments I put the rest of them in. At any rate this one should be a bit more colorful than the other one.
