Working on some relatively quick bookmarks and ACEOs, I'll start painting these once I find my masking fluid!

New ACEO painting: Occultus Morsus

Latin for "Hidden Sting". This one took me a long time, probably more than 15 hours, I really tried to push myself to get a lot of detail in there. I'm quite happy with the outcome, I definitely feel like I've made some definite improvements in my art. Click for a bigger picture, and sale details. Line Art: Goddess ACEO

Goddess of what? I don't know. Sort of a quick thing for fun, I plan to finish her tomorrow.

New ACEO WIP

Not a very good scan, I drew it with grey copic fine liners so it's pretty faint, had to bump up the contrast in photoshop a bit. Trying some lighter colors for my lines, I think it'll look nice with my usual mellow color schemes. Nothing too crazy here, typical dragon/floral thing, just trying to get back into arting again. Copic on Illustration board, gonna watercolor/multimedia it.

Ok, not really that new, I finished this a couple weeks ago, but I've been pretty busy with work and stuff, so I'm just now getting around to posting it up here. Just practice, picked a random subject and painted it, flowers, big surprise, I know. Click to full view.

New art - 'Montane Wyvern' ACEO

I started this painting in January (although this dragon has been sitting in my sketchbook for maybe a year or so), finished the dragon, and set it aside not knowing what to put in the background.The shading has more depth to it in real life, althought the colors are still fairly soft.

New art - 'Space Lilies' ACEO sketch

Sorry for the lack of activity lately, the winter doldrums gave me art block, and now that it's getting nice out I've got spring fever and I swear I can not sit still or focus on a task for more than five minutes without wanting to run around outside like a crazy person.

Anyway, in an effort to get out of my art block, I've been trying to force myself to do a few ACEOs, so here's a relatively quick one I started maybe a month ago, got bored with, and then forced myself to finish a couple days ago.

New art, and a WIP

Sorry about the lack of Friday Features, I'm hoping to start those up again next Friday.

First image is an ACEO completed the day before yesterday, it took a long time to finish, the shadows were giving me a hard time. I finally got to a point where I was pretty happy with it, but the scanner killed the colors and shading. The dragon is actually a very nice opalescent pink and blue IRL, and the shading and colors look a lot better, especially the blue shadows.

Sorry about the lack of updates recently, I haven't been getting a whole lot of artwork done, as I haven't had much privacy, or a proper work area. But, as of a few days ago, I have a nice, quiet area to work, so I finished a few warm up ACEOs. The last two contain nudity, you can click the images to full view an uncensored version. Trying to force myself to draw, so I liberated some random critters from my sketchbook. I actually inked this a couple days ago, I just keep forgetting to upload it. They kinda look like sea cucumber monsters.

New ACEO art: Red Lace Dragon

I'd started this as a little warm up/color study, but I ended up spending a good chunk of time on it. I'll probably be including this type of dragon in both my sticker set and my dragon lady portfolio.

Ok, so it's not finished, and I don't know if I'll ever finish it. I messed up the shadows and I really don't feel like messing with it. Maybe one day in the far future I'll finish it, but for now I need to set it aside because it's distracting me. So, in case I never finish it, here it is :P
