Work in progress, I'll start painting it once I finish the commission I took on at C3.

New art: C3 Dragon

Dragon I drew while stuck in my booth at C3 this year. 11" x 14", graphite and white pencil on toned paper. The original was donated to this year's charity auction at C3, let me know if there's any interest in prints and I'll piece my high resolution scans together.

Hey look, ART! Mostly done inking this, might tweak the right wing a bit, but maybe not until I start painting.There will be more leaves and flowers when I'm done with it, but I'm just going to ink the ones up close. No title yet.

New ACEO painting: Occultus Morsus

Latin for "Hidden Sting". This one took me a long time, probably more than 15 hours, I really tried to push myself to get a lot of detail in there. I'm quite happy with the outcome, I definitely feel like I've made some definite improvements in my art. Click for a bigger picture, and sale details. New ACEO WIP

Not a very good scan, I drew it with grey copic fine liners so it's pretty faint, had to bump up the contrast in photoshop a bit. Trying some lighter colors for my lines, I think it'll look nice with my usual mellow color schemes. Nothing too crazy here, typical dragon/floral thing, just trying to get back into arting again. Copic on Illustration board, gonna watercolor/multimedia it.

New art - 'Montane Wyvern' ACEO

I started this painting in January (although this dragon has been sitting in my sketchbook for maybe a year or so), finished the dragon, and set it aside not knowing what to put in the background.The shading has more depth to it in real life, althought the colors are still fairly soft.

Mushroom fairy WIP

Dug this up while I was going through some art to sell (I'm running an art sale right now, check my journal if you're interested). I haven't touched it in months, I got stuck trying to figure out how to do the lighting, put it aside, and never got around to picking it up again. Yes, the moss took a stupidly long time to paint.

There's really not too much left to do in terms of actual work, I just need to figure out exactly what I need to do before I do it. Shade and re ink the fairy, add some more water droplets, touch up the background. Initially it had another big tree on the right side, but I think I'll just cut that bit off because it's not too interesting.

I hope to finish this eventually, but in case I never do, I'll upload it as is. I left the taped up border because I like it for some reason.
