New Art - Tidepool ACEO
Finally feeling somewhat comfortable creating art again, although I did have to use a stock photo (photo contains nudity) as a pose reference. This painting is for sale, click the image below to go to the auction page, and to view an uncensored version.

ACEO artwork: Ghost
Random thing I did a few days ago, still trying to force myself to draw, inspiration's at an all time low.
Looks alright in real life, but my scanner killed the shading.

Finished artwork - Sunbeams
Unimaginative title, sorry. Maybe I'll come up with a better one later. Hopefully the first in a series of nude female anthropomorphic dragons.
Again, not censoring this, I try to keep this blog PG13, but I can't imagine most people getting their panties in a bunch over a little butt and side boob.
Original for sale HERE, prints will be available soon.

WIP: Possible dragon lady series?
I've been meaning to do a series of nude anthro dragon ladies for over a year now, but none of the sketches I did along that theme ever really appealed to me, and then I kinda forgot about it until now. I've had a sketch of this particular lady sitting around for a while, but it's too big and I just don't have time to finish something that large right now, so I came up with something smaller. This image measures 4" x 8.5"
Click to full view, I didn't bother to censor this one, I think most people can handle a little butt/side boob combo.

Ivana Hewlett ACEO
Finished ACEO badge commission for Atomiccoon, of his bat/dragon hybrid character, Ivana Hewlett.
Tried doing a bit of a lighting experiment, trying to make it look like moonlight. She's supposed to be in a walled courtyard, rather than a building with a roof.

Huge art sale! Reduced prices on prints and original ACEOs.
I'm trying to raise some money so I can visit my friends and family for a few days, fix my bike AND buy some chicken wire to keep the rabbits out of the vegetable garden, so I'm running a print and original ACEO sale in addition to my ACEO commission sale, which is still going on, if anyone's interested. I don't expect art money to cover all of those things, but it's been a while since Ben and I have had any leather work to do (though that should hopefully pick up again soon) so if we can just take care of one or two of these, it would be a huge help.
It's been a while since I've put something like this together, so I hope I'm not missing any information! If anything looks confusing, or you have any questions, please let me know. You can comment here, or email me at: Tealnewcomb@metalkirin.com
All prices USD, my paypal address is: babieslovehammers@gmail.com Please fill out the form below, and read all instructions before sending payment.
The sale ends March 30th, since we're planing to leave for my home town on the 1st, so I'll have plenty of time to ship everything out.
These ACEOs (as well as all of my artwork) have been stored in drawers, out of the light, and away from smoke or anything else that could cause damage to them. They do NOT come from a smoke free, pet free home (we have Cats, Dogs, and a Bird), although it's been almost a year since anyone's smoked in the house, and even then my boyfriend's mother was not a heavy smoker. As I mentioned before, they've always been kept in drawers, so any exposure to pet dandruff or smoke is minimal, I just thought it would be prudent to mention this in case anyone reading this has a severe allergy or something.
Prints are made with high quality ink on matte photo paper, minimum DPI is 300, but almost all of them are at least 500 DPI.
To order, Email me at: Tealnewcomb@metalkirin.com
These are the ACEOs I currently have available as prints and originals, click the images to full view, prices for originals are listed below the images:

I can also make almost any of my paintings/drawings available as a high quality ACEO sized print with little loss of detail. These seriously look really nice, my printer's pretty awesome and it gets all the little details, I tested it by printing THIS image and THIS image, even scaled down to ACEO size they look so much crisper than they do on my computer screen. Because the format will be different, I will probably have to crop the image a bit, for most paintings this will barely be noticeable, but some longer format images will have to be cropped significantly. If there's something you'd like me to make available in ACEO format, just let me know and I can send you an example of what it would look like cropped.
These are some of the large pieces I currently have available as prints and originals, click the images to full view, prices for originals are listed HERE, if anyone is interested:

Prices:
ACEO prints: $1.50 each, or 5 for $5, shipped in acid free clear Ultrapro sleeves. They are signed on the back. For a list of artwork available as ACEO prints, see below. If there's something of mine that isn't listed below that you'd like to purchase a print of, let me know and I'll see if I can get it for you.
ACEO originals: Individual prices as marked, shipped in clear, acid free ultrapro sleeves. Each original comes with a free ACEO print of your choice. I will not ship originals in regular envelopes. For a list of original ACEOs available, see below.
Large prints (size varies, I print them out as big as I can on 8.5"x11", they max out at about 7.5"x9" ): $7 each, or 5 for $30, each large print comes with a free ACEO print of your choice. They are signed on the back. For a list of artwork available as large prints, see below.
Shipping Prices:
Shipping for ACEO prints only: USA, Canada and Mexico: 44 cents flat if shipped in a regular envelope, $1.50 flat if shipped in a small bubble or cardboard mailer. International: $1 flat if shipped in a regular envelope, $1.50 flat if shipped in a small bubble or cardboard mailer.
Shipping ACEO prints and originals combined, or ACEO originals only: $2.00 flat in a bubble or cardboard mailer, includes insurance within the united states. I will not ship originals in a regular envelope, or without insurance in the united states. Since international insurance is expensive, it is not included unless requested, it will cost extra. The cost varies, for example, artwork valued at $100 shipped an 8.25"x10.5" package shipped in a Priority flat rate envelope costs about $16.85 to get to Northern Europe, contact me if you'd like international insurance and we can calculate it.
Shipping for Large prints (I will ship with ACEO prints and originals if you order both): $2.00 flat in a bubble mailer or cardboard mailer, includes insurance within the united states, if you're ordering originals with them. I will not ship originals in a regular envelope, or without insurance in the united states. Since international insurance is expensive, it is not included unless requested, it will cost extra. Yuki Hakari ACEO commission
Just finished Arasi_Kitty's commission, I'm very happy with how it turned out <3
Her character Yuki Hakari, who is a nine tailed black panther/silver fox with fennec ears, and a dancer. It was fun to paint all those spots.

Big commission sale, limited slots!
I'm a few days away (at the most) from finishing the last of my commissions, so I thought I'd see if I could get a few more, since money's still kinda tight around here, and I'd like to be able to visit my family and friends at least once this spring before my boyfriend starts working almost every day and we lose our chance until August, which would suck because we haven't been able to visit since Fall.
So, for a little while, I'm taking $100 off my full color, large (about 8.5"x11", which is as big as I usually go right now) full background commissions.
Example 1
Example 2
These normally cost about $250, but for now they're $150. Something with a less complicated background, that would normally cost $200 (no example) would now cost only $100.
The only catch is, I get more or less complete artistic freedom, I can draw your character in whatever pose I want, in whatever environment I want, in my choice of either marker/multimedia or watercolor/multimedia. They will probably be in a jungle or on a funky alien planet, something organic and exotic, probably in the company of some funky dragons or other critters. I promise to draw your character as close to your references as possible, and not to draw them doing anything out of character/weird/whatever. Extra characters are $25 each, I will draw up to four characters in one painting. I don't charge extra for the random creatures I might throw in, they count as a part of the background.
I'm offering a similar deal on ACEOs, one character (usually waist or hip-up) plus a very detailed background for $30, normal price would be closer to $40 or so, depending on the complexity. Again, I get more or less full artistic freedom.
Example (older artwork)
Make sure you read my Commission terms, if you're not familiar with them.
If you'd like to commission me, please email me at Tealnewcomb@metalkirin.com

crystal_fox ACEO trade
So I guess I lied when I said I wouldn't be uploading anything for a while, but I felt like crap today so I took a break from doing commissions to do some personal work, and to finish up my half of an ACEO trade with crystal_fox. Her character Amaze is feeding a random wyvern grapes because that was the first thing that came to mind for some reason.

Back to commissions tomorrow, got deadlines, y'all.

OMG, Art!
I know I've missed a few Friday Features, I've had a lot of stuff on my mind and it's been hard to remember my Blog exists, I should have something to post this Friday.
I actually finished some art a while ago, plus I dug up some doodles while reorganizing the bedroom. Click to view details.
The first one's a commission for Carowyn, of her husky character, she requested an Egyptian theme:

The next three are some sticker doodles i did to relax a few months ago:

Yay new art! And a new WIP.
Miraculously I've managed to maintain my productive streak, I've been drawing and painting for hours every day.
First is a little commission for Diana Dang, aka RemotelyxPainful, of her 'Underworld Gatekeeper' character.

Second is the finished lineart for my current personal project, which I am super excited about because it has the potential to be my best work yet, if I don't ruin it.

"Bird of Paradise"
This image contains artistic nudity, so if you don't want to see weird naked monster lady boobies, be warned!
I started doodling on a label sticker while I was visiting my parents, and I ended up finishing it today. Originally, I was going to do one sticker, and my boyfriend was going to do another sticker to mirror it, similar concept but in his own style. Buuuuuuut, I don't know if he'll end up finishing his half, we'll see.
When I first started coloring her, I was going to make her white with green shadows, but she ended up green and blue, but it works for her, so wheee...
I wish it weren't so small, maybe I'll redo something similar to this, I love the color combo.
Markers, pel pen and gouache on a label sticker.
You can click the image to see an uncensored version.
She is for sale HERE.

Dragoness ACEO
Started as a sketch last night while watching Dirty Work with my boyfriend, touched up a bit this morning while watching PeeWee's Playhouse (also with my boyfriend) lol. Couple hours total, she's for sale here: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7294429
She looks much nicer in real life, the scanner killed the crispness of the details.
